Rafael Mohrez was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and embarked on his career in large corporations and consulting firms before transitioning to startups in 2018. With over 15 years of experience in operations management, logistics, and strategic and financial planning, Mr. Mohrez has consistently driven businesses toward excellence and profitability across various industries, including mining, beverage, supply chain, micromobility, technology, renewable energies, and textiles.
Rafael is the author of numerous articles, such as “Expansión china: foco en lo local” (Chinese Expansion: Focus on the Local), which was published in Diario Financiero (Chile). He has also authored a book titled “The Brazilian Industry’s Lack of Competitiveness,” published in 2016.
Mr. Mohrez’s educational background includes a double degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, an MBE (Economic and International Trade) from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and an MBA (with Distinction) from Grenoble Ecole de Management in France.
